Welcome to our Neurodivergence/Special Needs Ministry!

“Ministry for Children with Neurodivergence/Special Needs” exists to provide a place of belonging and accessibility for children 5th grade and under and their families. Our caring volunteers are trained to serve as peer partners for children with special needs to fully participate and enjoy our Kidspace Children’s (10:45am) classes starting Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Portland Community Church. We seek to provide a safe place where your child can learn about Jesus and meet new friends, so that you as parents feel comfortable joining worship services and other enriching activities of the church. 

We aim to serve children who present with diverse social, physical, cognitive, sensory, and learning needs.
